Service

This portion of the website goes over the 10 hours of service I performed for my Horizon Project

For the service portion of the Horizon Project, I spent a majority of my time packing on the job meals for the Huntersville Police Department. I packed over 40 bags of meals and snacks for officers. I wrote letters of encouragement to both law enforcement officers and criminals in prisons. I spread awareness by making signs in support of the local police departments that were showcased around my neighborhood and school. Finally, I organized a prayer group dedicated to praying for both law enforcement workers and criminals. One of the activities we did in this prayer group was do a rosary chain for the entirety of the month of August dedicated to our local law enforcement, as well as anyone else we felt needed extra prayers at this time.
